Cathy Clark
As President and CEO of CA Specialities, Cathy has over 30 years experience in surfactant and cosmetic chemistry in research and development as well as sales and marketing. Cathy is a graduate of Oglethorpe University with a BS in Chemistry and holds an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University, with post graduate courses in Industrial Distribution at University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL. Cathy has held numerous offices in the Society of Cosmetic Chemists on both local and National levels.
Tom Douglass
Tom joined the sales team with 40 years of experience in ingredient sales and new product development. He has sold surfactants for Emery Industries and was most recently VP of Sales for a botanical extract company used in supplements.
Tom brings extensive experience in ingredient sales and sales management to the functional food industry to our team.
He holds a BS degree from Purdue University in Chemistry and enjoys listening to music and tinkering around the house.
Alan Morrow
Alan has experience in sales, and sales management with multinational chemical companies including BF Goodrich, Aqualon and Nalco. Alan holds a BS degree in Chemistry and Economics. Alan joined CA Specialities after relocating to Charlotte from Wilmington, Delaware with his wife Lynn. Alan enjoys volunteer work at Habitat for Humanity.
Ryan Perdue
Ryan is a member of our team as Operations Manager bringing with him over 24 years of experience in the chemical distribution industry. He has held various positions over the years including plant employee, purchasing, sales, and plant manager for six years. His previous position was as a district manager overseeing sales and operations for two years. When not at work, Ryan enjoys watching his son play baseball and participating in water activities or shooting sports.
Anna Robinette
Anna Robinette is our Technical Services Manager. Anna handles all areas of technical support to our customers and sales department. She was previously employed by Bareco waxes, GB Fermentation, and Leiner Pharmaceutical. Anna is a South Carolina native and holds a BS from Univ. of NC, Chapel Hill. Anna enjoys gourmet baking as a hobby.
Specialty Sales and Support
Purchasing – Justin McManus supports our team with purchasing and logistics skills. Justin is a graduate of Clemson University with a BS in Supply Chain Management.
Operations– Troy Roberts is in charge of our warehousing and logistics. Troy holds a BA from Winthrop University. He is very active with the Boy Scouts of America and our local Little League Baseball teams.
Customer Service – Jill Carter supports our customers in order fulfillment and product selection. Jill has 18+ years of administrative support experience within the chemical industry.
Sales Assistant– Shelley Ehrmanntraut supports the internal office and sales team and administers accounts payable, receivables. Shelley enjoys horseback riding and spending time outdoors. She holds a BS Degree from Merrimack College.
